PHCC Puppy Contract & Guarantee

All puppies are raised in our home and with our dogs so they can learn important and valuable social and behavioral lessons.  As such, the earliest a puppy will be ready to go to a new home is at 8 weeks of age, we will never allow a puppy to leave early - no exceptions.  We take the placement of our pups very seriously, therefore all homes must complete a puppy application and read the 'must read' section of our website before we will offer a contract and accept a deposit on a puppy or for the waiting list.

All of our litters are planned out well in advance with proper health and temperament testing completed and with specific goals in mind.  We register all of our dogs with the American Kennel Club (AKC).  After the litter is born, we ensure appropriate veterinary care, vaccination, and deworming for all puppies.  We raise the puppies in our home with plenty of interaction with other people and animals to imprint appropriate social skills.  We raise our pups with the 'Puppy Culture' program, which exposes the puppies to various textures, sounds, and sights throughout their first few weeks that are critical to establishing a balanced and stable temperament for all pups.  Between 6-8 weeks of age, we begin to match puppies to new owners based on the temperament of the pups being compatible with their new homes.
